Wavesay turns your audio — a voice note, a song, a heartbeat recording — into a soundwave graphic and adds it to your Canva design as a print-sharp SVG. Pick bars, line, or circle style, choose any color, and press Add to design. Your audio never leaves your device.

FAQ

• Which audio formats are supported? WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, FLAC, and WebM, up to 40 MB.
• How long can my recording be? Up to 10 minutes are used. Longer files are decoded but only the first 10 minutes become part of the graphic, and the app tells you when that happens.
• The wave looks jagged. How do I smooth it? Raise the Detail slider — more points make a smoother, denser wave. The line style also looks smoother than bars for speech.
• The wave is tiny in my design. What should I do? Try turning Mirror on for the full-height look, then drag the graphic's corner handles in Canva to resize it. Because the graphic is a vector SVG, enlarging it never loses sharpness.
• I can't find the app in Canva. In the Canva editor, open the Apps panel on the left and search for Wavesay. Make sure you are using Canva on desktop or mobile (not Canva Docs, which the app does not support).
