Wavesay is operated by George Tsertsvadze, an individual developer based in the United Kingdom.

The short version
Wavesay does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no login, no cookies, and no analytics on this website or in the app.
Your audio stays on your device
Audio files you choose in the Wavesay Canva app are decoded entirely in your browser on your own device. They are never uploaded to Wavesay or to any third party. Wavesay has no servers and receives nothing from you.
What leaves your browser
The only thing that leaves your browser is the soundwave image you ask to add to your design: the generated SVG graphic and its PNG thumbnail. These are sent to your own Canva media library through Canva's Apps SDK, so that Canva can place the graphic in your design. From that point they are governed by Canva's privacy policy.
Canva permissions the app requests
The app requests four Canva permissions, and only these:
- canva:design:content:write — to insert the generated soundwave graphic into your design.
- canva:asset:private:write — to upload the generated graphic and its thumbnail to your own Canva media library.
- canva:design:content:read — so Canva's color picker can offer the colors already used in your design. Wavesay never reads your design for any other purpose and stores nothing from it.
- canva:brandkit:read — so Canva's color picker can offer your brand colors when you choose a waveform color.
Website
This website (wavesay.app) sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It is plain static pages. If you email support, your message is used only to answer you.
Children
Wavesay is not directed at children under 13, and no data is knowingly collected from children because no data is collected from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
